Our History

Waitara Anglican Church (All Saints Waitara) started from humble beginnings meeting on the veranda of a weatherboard cottage at 34 Palmerston Road Waitara.

The first service was held in the evening on Sunday 17th December 1950. In 2025 we celebrate 75 years of ministry at the current site.

Over the next decade as the congregation grew, plans were made to build a church hall for meetings.  The new building was completed and a Service of Dedication held on 20th June 1959.

Further additions and alterations were made in the 1970’s to 1990’s to assist in ministry to the community and the weatherboard cottage was replaced by a hall and then later a brick rectory.
