Thanks for subscribing to our weekly news. Wishing you all peace and love and God’s goodness this Christmas and into 2018.
On Sunday 24th Dec we are having a COMBINED service at 9.30am of Lessons and Carols. There is no children’s program for this service but we will have colouring activity packs for kids that join us.
At 5pm on Christmas Eve we have a special service for children and their carers, with puppets and songs presenting the Christmas message.
On Monday 25th Dec Christmas Day we have two morning services. The 8am is traditional Holy Communion and the 9.30am is Family service with our Children’s Program. At 9.30am we will have activities outside the service for children in years K-2 and also years 3-6.
Please invite your friends and family and share our Facebook page with all your social media contacts and let people know what’s happening here in Waitara over the Christmas weekend.
Thank you to our team of Christmas Carols in Waitara Helpers
We appreciate so many Helpers getting involved last Sunday for our Carols Celebrations, and thank you all so much for sharing your gifts with us all and serving here at Waitara. Many people came and enjoyed the evening, please continue to pray for our community.
Hornsby District Rotary
Our thanks to the team at Hornsby District Rotary for very kindly donating our beautiful Christmas tree on the front verandah of the church. It’s lovely to have a tree to share with our community for the Carols service and for the duration of the festive season.

Used stamps for BCA
Please cut off the used stamps from your Christmas mail envelopes, and drop them into the office and we will be sure to pass them onto BCA. (Bush Church Aid Society).
Prayers for this week
Pray for those Christians spending this Christmas in refugee camps around the world. Pray they will receive God’s strengthening and care.
Pray for our local churches as they seek to mark Christmas for another year. Pray for those preparing messages and services over the holiday.
Pray for our recent crop of school leavers here at church, that we might be able to serve them well as they enter into young adulthood.
Give thanks for all those in our church who volunteered their time to make our program of Christmas services happen. Pray for those who have their first Christmas after loosing loved ones during the past year. Pray they will trust in God’s good plan.
Pray for the Carpentiers spending their first Christmas in Namibia. Pray for some uplifting fellowship with other believers.
