Lost and Found
If you’ve lost something at church (or have picked up something that looks lost), please take note of our lost and found box near the front door.
We’ve received a special request to make an appeal for a lost doll belonging to Isobel Farrow that was left behind after last Sunday’s 10:00am service. Apparently Isobel left her doll rather near the ‘free toys’ box in the foyer on Sunday, so it’s possible someone may have picked her up.
The Farrows describe the doll’s main features as:
-having a head that smells like vanilla;
-being rather floppy in the middle;
-wearing an ill-fitting hot pink onesie on Sunday when she went missing.
Here is a photo of her, without her little onesie on:
Have you picked Isobel’s doll up by mistake? She’d love to have her back!
A meeting will be held for our Growth Group leaders and coordinators at the Kemp’s house, 15 Dudley St Asquith, 7:45pm on Tuesday 23rd January. Please RSVP to Marty:
Our first prayer meeting for 2018 will be held at the Kemps’ home at 15 Dudley St Asquith; from 2:00pm on Thursday February 1st. Afternoon tea will be served. If you can make it, Marty and Jas (and Theo) would love to see you there! If you would like a lift, please contact the church office.

Prayers for this week
Pray for those who are charged with keeping and operating the world’s nuclear weapons. Pray they may be kept from costly mistakes.
Pray for Matt Kean, our local member for State Parliament. Pray for wisdom as Matt (with his office) seek to serve us as our representative.
Pray for those who are new to our church, or who maybe still feel new. Pray that they might feel comfortable as they join us in fellowship.
Pray for our Friday night ministry to youth, currently in recess over the summer break. Pray that the New Year might see new members.
Pray for Barry Edmundson, recovering from abdominal surgery this week after suffering from severe pain last weekend.
Give thanks the Carpentiers have found a permanent place to live. Pray for their ability to remember new names as they settle in!
Blessings from your team at church,
Marty, Emily, Nick, Richard, Leonie, Matt, and Vicki
